The UAE Strongly Condemns Israel’s Attacks On Jenin

In recent years, the conflict between Palestine and Israel has tragically escalated. Which led to heightened tensions and devastating consequences for both sides. On Monday, July 3, an Israeli attack on Palestine shook the region. The Israeli Occupational Forces conducted an air strike and 100s of officers stormed Jenin and its refugee camp.

As the world watched, the attack served as a painful reminder of the deep-rooted complexities. In addition to the urgent need for a lasting resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

That’s not all, after the attack, at least 3,000 Palestinians escaped the refugee camp in Jenin. This Israeli attack is one of its most intense military operations in the occupied West Bank in nearly two decades. The IOF carried out a series of drone strikes and sent in hundreds of troops on an open-ended mission.

The UAE strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Jenin

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) called for the immediate halt of repeated and escalating campaigns against the Palestinian people. The Ministry called upon Israeli authorities to decrease the escalation. They stressed that authorities should refrain from actions that worsen tension and violence in the occupied Palestinian territories. They emphasized the need to prevent the situation from deteriorating further and to break the cycle of violence. Also, MoFA called for abiding by the provisions of international law and Security Council resolutions.

The Ministry stressed the need to recommit to international efforts to achieve a ceasefire and revive the Middle East Peace Process. Furthermore, stressing the UAE’s support for all regional and international efforts in this regard. As well as ending illegal practices that threaten the two-state solution and establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
