The weekend is finally here. The perfect to time to unwind, go to the spa, or indulge in art with your friends.

Well, if you’re up for a creative, artistic, and calming weekend here’s a list of 3 things you can do!

3. Explore a culture through photographs at Manarat Al Saadiyat!

Manarat Al Saadiyat has unveiled their newest exhibition “Arirang Narsha” by Korean artist Yang Jaemoon. There are 22 photographs on display at the arts center which were inspired by Jinju Gyobang Gutgeori (four-beat structure with three subdivisions), Geommu (a sword dance), Cheoyongmu (Dance of Cheoyong) and a Nongak (Samulnori, five-person dance).

This collection introduces Jaemoon’s early stage of works to the most recent.

No tickets necessary! This exhibition is free to the public and will be running until June 19.

1. Expand your artistic knowledge with the “Stories of Paper” exhibition in the Louvre


Be one with art and explore the new exhibition at the Louvre in Saadiyat Island. There are nearly 100 artworks from 16 different museums from all around the world! Stories of Paper includes Katsushika Hokusai’s renowned Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura (The Great Wave off Kanagawa), and so much more. This exhibition ranges from manuscripts to sketches and drawings on paper all the way to installations. Expand your artistic knowledge and dive deep into the art!
