Thousands Of Volunteers Packed Aid for Gaza in Abu Dhabi

On Sunday, October 29, thousands of volunteers packed aid for the Tarahum for Gaza campaign at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. In its third week, the campaign witnessed the participation of 5,000 volunteers. They gathered at the Etihad Arena, the Festival Arena in Dubai, and at the Al Bayt Mitwahid Center in Sharjah.

The thousands of volunteers packed aid consisting of 20,000 relief packages on Sunday

Additionally, they collected 450 tonnes of relief materials. The campaign includes the participation of 20 charitable and humanitarian institutions in addition to national volunteering platforms. Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority (ERC), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the Ministry of Community Development supervise the campaign.

The 3 royals are:

  • Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan
  • Sheikh Hamdan bin Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan
  • and Sheikh Khalifa bin Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan

To date, the Tarahum for Gaza campaign collected 1,250 tonnes of food, hygiene and medical relief materials. Also, they prepared 58,000 relief packages for children and mothers, as well as food packages.
