After wrapping up the filming for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Tom Cruise and the crew are coming back to Abu Dhabi! Abu Dhabi is hosting the Red Carpet movie premiere on June 26 at the Emirates Palace.
This isn’t the first time the crew comes to Abu Dhabi, they also filmed scenes of the movie in the glorious capital. Director Christopher McQuarrie and the crew shot scenes in both the Liwa Desert and Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal.

The complexity of the shoot included building an Arabian village in the desert and multiple sets at the terminal. This effort required a collaborative effort from multiple businesses and entities across Abu Dhabi. Including twofour54 Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Airports (AD Airports) and Etihad Airways, the official airline partner of the film.
However, despite filming amidst COVID-19, the shoot faced no issues regarding the pandemic. Tom Cruise, Christopher McQuarrie, and the crew filmed in 2021 over 15 days and thanks to the ADFC protocols put in place.
