Tom Cruise was in Abu Dhabi and he absolutely loved it!

The Mission Impossible star visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi and left fans starstruck before heading out to a meal at the famous Abu Dhabi restaurant Fouquet’s

He really knew how to make the most of the city- perhaps because he was here previously to shoot the iconic film.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One was shot in locations across Abu Dhabi over 15 days in 2021

This film has received so much support from several authorities and businesses in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

They shot inside the Midfield Terminal but also outside on the roof, right atop the longest single-standing arch in the world at 180m. Tom Cruise is also the first official passenger to arrive at the Midfield Terminal. In fact, The first time anyone will see the terminal will be in the movie, which will be in cinemas on July 13, 2023! You’ll also see purpose-built sets at the airport, including an Etihad First Class Lounge.

Some parts of the film were also recorded among the sweeping dunes of the Liwa desert, where they actually had to build an entire Arabian village!

The Middle East premiere took place at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental

The entire cast and crew were present and eagerly interacting with fans.

Watch Tom Cruise talk about the UAE as a place with “elegant and beautiful culture” – you just know that he’s going to be a very familiar face in the city soon.
