This beautiful occasion takes place annually to mark a tribute to the UAE’s most-respected symbol, its flag, the representation of the country’s UAE, achievements, success and the sacrifices made by its founding fathers.
It has been held since 2013 to also mark Sheikh Khalifa’s emergence as President of the UAE.
4500 flags were used to form the portraits of the leaders at the Flag Garden. It is open to the public until December 10, 2019.

‘Tis a time to be proud of living in a country with so much love, respect and tolerance to its own culture and others.
A flag is a symbol of our emotional connection to our nation. Whether proudly unfurled or wrapped around a martyr, love, respect and deep feelings flow for it. My congratulations to all Emiratis on #UAEFlagDay. May this great nation always prosper https://t.co/wGBKDWPcx5 pic.twitter.com/JyKXb01EOy
