The UAE President Meets With Vladimir Putin Today To Find A Peaceful Solution For Ukraine
The UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is travelling to Russia to meet Russian President Vladimir. As news of the meeting unfolded, the UAE issued a report affirming its support for efforts aimed at de-escalation of the crisis in Ukraine.

The UAE underscored its readiness to support efforts aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis. Additionally, the country is reiterating its position calling for diplomacy, dialogue and respect for the rules and principles of international law.

Moreover, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stated the intention of the president’s visit
The MoFAIC said that the visit of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed to Russia is part of the UAE’s continuous endeavour to contribute to achieving security and stability in the region and the world. Additionally, the visit is meant to enhance fruitful and constructive cooperation with regional and international powers. As well as, communicating with all parties concerned in the Ukraine crisis to help reach effective political solutions.
Furthermore, the Ministry indicated that the bilateral talks will address the latest developments related to the crisis. As the UAE seeks to achieve positive results to reduce military escalation, and the humanitarian repercussions. Finally, to reach a political settlement to achieve global peace and security.
