The UAE President Sends His Condolences To The Victims Of The Stampede In Indonesia

On October 2, a football match between Javanese clubs Persebaya Surabaya and Arema resulted in a stampede. Supporters of the clubs stormed the pitch after Persebaya Surabaya defeated the home team Aerma 3-2.

At least 125 people were killed and 320 injured in the stampede on Sunday

Indonesian officials reported a death toll of 125 and 320 victims injured from the accident.

WAM announced that the UAE President H.H. Mohamed bin Zayed sent his condolences to the victims of the stampede

His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed sent his condolences to to the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. Additionally, H.H. sent condolences to the victims of the stampede. Moreover, he wishes a speedy recovery to the victims injured from the accident.
