Team Captain Virat Kohli And The Rest Of The IPL Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Team Have Officially Arrived In Dubai

A new day, a new team arrives in Dubai to get all prepped up for the Indian Premier League (IPL) which will be taking place in the UAE this year, due to the situation in India caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

And now the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) gang’s all heaaaaa in Du-bae!!

After Shane Watson shared a teaser video of his quarantine situation in Dubai on Friday morning, captain of the Indian cricket team & RCB, Virat Kohli shared a still of himself posing from his Dubai hotel balcony the same day to announce of his arrival to his fans!

With a caption reading,

“Hello Dubai…”

The rescheduled IPL season is all set to be held in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi from Sep 19 – Nov 10. But before they can begin prepping for the games, all the players will be quarantined and required to pass COVID-19 tests.

While the RCB team flew together from Bangalore to Dubai, the captain boarded a private chartered plane to the UAE on Friday from Mumbai separately – due to bio-safety issues

AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn and Chris Morris have all landed in Dubai as well and are all set to kick some but right after they’re done fulfilling the numerous COVID-19 procedures

All IPL players and officials will have to self-isolate for a week in Dubai and undergo a series of COVID-19 testing before they resume training as a team.
