10. The Lovin Dubai Cruise sets sail EVERY Saturday

9. Foodies! Get yourself to the pop-up Clubhouse at Mall of the Emirates

One of the most awaited (and important) festivals in Dubai, Dubai Food Festival is well underway, and if you’re wondering where to head this week, Mall of the Emirates is the place to be!

Kids head to the MOE Little Club House for a whole range of arts and crafts, computer games, a reading corner and make-believe market place, (receipt value totaling AED150 gains you entry) while in the MOE Clubhouse, find live music, foosball, mini-golf, 3D printed pancakes, coffee art and some amazing home-grown food stalls.

8. #WOWJBR has a jam-packed schedule of music and entertainment

Spend this weekend at JBR with the fam, friends or bae making the most of the entertainment, foodie stalls and super ‘grammable moments which are all in big supply down at JBR.

To celebrate International Women’s Day; this weekend includes a line-up of local female resident performers along with a hyped dance show, LED lantern puppets, mime artists, ballerina performances and tracks from by DJ Arlene Gomez.

2. An amazing open-air art festival is coming to Bluewaters

A new art festival is coming to Bluewaters, the island located next to JBR, and it’s jazzing up the winter season as we know it.

Continuing with the hugely successful open-mic sessions from the Street Festival, the Open Gallery brings a mixture of art activities; from creating unicorn dream catchers (how fun is that?!) and mother’s day canvases, to community art events and shell art fun.

There’ll also be improv nights, and live performances every Thursday, Friday and Saturday along with FIREWORKS (yup, love ’em) on Fridays and Saturdays between March 7 and March 30.

1. The one and only Jason Derulo is performing TWICE this weekend

Despite the fact he’s played in Dubai a number of times before, the level of excitement for a Jason Derulo performance never seems to fade.

He’s hitting Drai’s on Friday, March 8 (early bird tickets for ladies cost AED100 including one drink, gents pay AED300 with two drinks)

On Saturday, he’ll be at White Dubai, Meydan Racecourse. Doors 11pm – 4am. RUNNNNN
