On Tuesday, the Yemeni government signed a peace deal with Southen Transitional Council in the first major step towards peace.
HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence attended the signing of the Riyadh Agreement between the Yemeni Government and the STC.
Saudi and UAE had been supporting the Yemeni government as it fought with rebels in the south of the county.
