Earlier it was Dubai and now Abu Dhabi, which is all set to take part in the Saudi National Day festivities in a big way starting today. For those who haven’t visited Abu Dhabi yet, this line up of events is probably just the reason you need to visit the emirate over this extended weekend.
Yas Marina will host an extravagant fireworks display starting at 8 PM. This will be followed by a separate fireworks display that will take place on the Corniche at 9 PM where roughly 8,000 fireworks will form the Saudi flag in the Abu Dhabi night sky.
This is a retail promotion that will run for four days starting from the 20th September that will see over 140 stores spread across six malls participating in it. Buyers will be given 100 AED mall vouchers for 500 AED that is spent on health, cosmetics, perfumes & oud related items.
The Abu Dhabi International Airport will offer dining vouchers of a range of restaurants to Saudi nationals. And, those who will be arriving at the airport today will get to see a performance by Harbiya Cultural Dancers in the arrivals area.
Saudi Arabia’s iconic dance the Ardah will be performed on the 21st and 22nd of September at Galleria Mall, Al Ain Mall and Yas Mall starting at 5 PM.
Abu Dhabi’s iconic Yas Island will turn green to mark the occasion. Be it the Ferarri World, Yas Waterworld or Warner Bros World – all will be lit green.
