43 Nationalities Can Exchange Their License For A UAE License

If you’re moving to Abu Dhabi or any of the other emirates in the UAE, then you best believe that you’ll need a license to get around. So, if you’re a citizen of these 43 nationalities you can switch out your license for a UAE one easily!
Don’t fret if you can’t get a license once you’re here, Abu Dhabi’s got a glorious system of public transportation that you can easily navigate. The city’s got public buses, a tram-like electric bus, and taxis that you can take to get to where you need to go!

The MoI offers a service that allows people to exchange their driving licenses within the ‘Markhoos’ initiative. So, basically you have the right to drive with your driving license or exchange it with a UAE license if they are a resident of the UAE and a citizen of these 43 nationalities!
