Abu Dhabi Is Moving To Cashless Payments At All Customer Service Centers

Abu Dhabi is taking another big step towards a fully digital future.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has announced that, starting Wednesday, 1 April 2026, cash payments for service fees will no longer be accepted

From that date, all transactions will be handled through digital platforms such as TAMM, Dari and Smart Hub. If you’re visiting a customer service centre, you can also pay easily with a credit card, ensuring a smooth, fast, and convenient experience.
