Abu Dhabi Drivers, Watch Out… There’s a Darb Toll Scam Going Around!

Abu Dhabi drivers, this one’s important!

A local resident has come forward with a warning for everyone: there’s a new Darb toll scam circulating in text messages, and it’s targeting unsuspecting motorists.

The scam messages claim there’s an issue with your Darb toll account and urge you to click a link to “fix” it. Sounds familiar? That’s because it’s exactly what it is… a trap!

Do NOT click the link. Do NOT reply. Do NOT enter your details!

The alert comes from someone who’s been keeping a close eye on the messages themselves, and they’re keen to make sure others don’t fall victim. It’s a reminder that even in a city as advanced as Abu Dhabi, scams can still slip through.

Why this matters:

Payment-related scams like this are designed to look official, which makes them tricky. One click could compromise your account or personal information. Staying alert is the simplest way to protect yourself.

If you’re a Darb user, always check your account directly through official channels rather than clicking on any links sent in texts!

So folksss, staying vigilant online is just as important as staying safe on the roads!
