Abu Dhabi has been crowned the “World’s Best Cruise Destination” at the prestigious World Cruise Awards, beating out other top destinations such as Mauritius, Mexico, Jamaica, Alaska, and the Philippines.
This marks a significant milestone in the emirate’s efforts to become a global hub for cruise tourism.
The emirate was crowned the World’s Best Cruise Destination and Middle East’s Best Cruise Destination, while the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal at Zayed Port, operated by AD Ports Group, was named both the World’s Best Cruise Terminal and Middle East’s Best Cruise Terminal.

The Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal at Zayed Port has also been recognized for its excellence, receiving the awards for “World’s Best Cruise Terminal” and “Middle East’s Best Cruise Terminal”. The terminal has witnessed remarkable growth, welcoming over 600,000 visitors to Abu Dhabi in 2023 alone.
