Abu Dhabi Is Coming Together For A Powerful Cause At Cancer Run 2026 presented by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi

This February, Abu Dhabi isn’t just running for fitness… it’s running for awareness, unity, and hope.

Cancer Run 2026 presented by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, is making its return to Hudayriyat Island for the third year in a row, bringing the community together for a powerful, purpose-driven day that goes far beyond the finish line.

Happening on Sunday, 1 February 2026, the event invites everyone….families, friends, first-time walkers, and seasoned runners, to show up, move together, and stand in solidarity with those affected by cancer!

One of the things that makes Cancer Run so special is how inclusive it is. No pressure, no barriers, just movement with meaning.

Participants can choose from four distances, making it easy for all ages and fitness levels to take part:

• 1km – A family-friendly walk for kids and parents
• 3km – Ideal for beginners and casual walkers
• 5km – For those who love staying active
• 10km – For competitive runners ready to push themselves

With hydration stations and full medical support along every route, participants can focus on what really matters… showing up and moving forward together.

Cancer Run 2026 is designed to be as meaningful off the track as it is on it!

Throughout the venue, participants can explore:

• Cancer awareness and education booths
• Opportunities to speak directly with medical professionals
• Family-friendly activities for all ages
• Conversations centred on early detection and regular health check-ups

It’s a space to learn, connect, and leave feeling more informed and empowered.

The event is proudly presented by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, one of the UAE’s leading multi-specialty hospitals, known for putting patient care, innovation, and community health first

The run is organised by Plan b Group and supported by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, reinforcing the emirate’s ongoing commitment to active, healthy, and purpose-led lifestyles.

For runners who enjoy a competitive edge, Cancer Run 2026 also features cash prizes:

10km (Male & Female)

• 1st place: AED 2,000
• 2nd place: AED 1,500
• 3rd place: AED 1,000

5km (Male & Female)

• 1st place: AED 1,500
• 2nd place: AED 1,000
• 3rd place: AED 750

All competitive finishers will take home medals, a small but powerful reminder of what they ran for!
