Abu Dhabi Officials Visit Injured From Iranian Attacks

Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi visited Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City to check on those injured in the recent Iranian attacks and follow up on their recovery. He was joined by a number of senior officials, including representatives from Abu Dhabi’s emergency and health sectors.

During the visit, they reviewed treatment plans and checked on the level of care being provided

The delegation also met with patients and their families. They listened to their experiences and offered reassurance and support during this difficult time.

Al Muhairi praised the strength and resilience of those injured. He wished them a smooth recovery. The medical and administrative teams also got special recognition for their dedication and professionalism.

The safety and wellbeing of the community remain the top priority

Major General highlighted the importance of continuing to mobilise all medical and logistical resources to support recovery efforts. He also noted that Abu Dhabi’s strong healthcare system and preparedness are playing a key role in responding effectively.

Work is ongoing to ensure patients receive full support until recovery.

In a separate visit, Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, also stopped by the hospital to check on patients. Medical teams shared updates on their treatment and progress. Abu Dhabi’s healthcare system continues to run at a high level of readiness.
