Abu Dhabi Police Handled 117K Reports As Heavy Rainfall Hit Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Police handled more than 117,000 reports during the recent tropical weather conditions that affected the UAE from March 21 until March 28. The high number of calls came in as the country experienced heavy rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms across multiple cities.

Teams worked around the clock to keep roads safe and operations running smoothly

Operations rooms across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra remained fully active, with traffic and security patrols working 24/7. Their focus stayed on responding quickly to emergencies, managing traffic flow and ensuring roads remained as safe as possible despite the challenging conditions.

Authorities highlighted that the rapid response was made possible through close coordination between field teams and technical units, along with other relevant entities. This joint effort helped maintain safety and stability across the emirate, even during peak weather disruptions.
