Abu Dhabi Police Foiled A Suicide Attempt On A Popular Abu Dhabi Street

Abu Dhabi Police foiled a suicide attempt on Hamdan Street, one of Abu Dhabi’s busiest streets.

A 40-year-old Asian man attempted to kill himself by throwing himself in front of a truck. He was spotted by a nearby patrol team who immediately had the body rushed to a local hospital.

Some bones were fractured but the man survived the incident.

A post from the police reminds residents that suicide is a criminal offence, and legal action can be taken against offenders.
