The company has shut its local fulfillment centre, and customers across the region may experience delivery and return delays. Amazon says its priority remains the safety of employees and partners. No safety incidents involving staff have been reported.
While deliveries are still taking place in parts of the network, customers could notice slower processing times depending on location and service availability.

In a separate update, Amazon Web Services confirmed infrastructure disruptions in the UAE.
The company also reported cloud service errors affecting some customers in the region. A facility in Bahrain was additionally affected.
AWS says teams are working on restoration and mitigation efforts, but there is currently no confirmed timeline for full recovery.
The UAE serves as a major logistics and cloud hub for Amazon’s Middle East operations. Any disruption can impact:
• Delivery timelines
• Third-party sellers
• Cross-border shipments
• Cloud-based services across the region
Amazon has not specified how long operational adjustments will remain in place.
Operations are being managed, safety is the focus, and customers may experience delays… but services are continuing where possible.
