Etihad Airways has embarked on a strategic expansion of its global network in 2024, introducing two new non-stop services to India and enhancing its offerings on popular routes.

On January 1, 2024, the Abu Dhabi-based airline commenced daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Kozhikode (CCJ) and Thiruvananthapuram (TRV) in the Kerala region of India.

These new services bring the total number of Indian gateways served by Etihad to 10, demonstrating the airline’s commitment to connecting India to the world.

Further enhancing its presence in India, Etihad Airways reintroduced services to Kolkata in 2023, connecting eastern India to global destinations. The airline also increased the frequencies of flights to Mumbai and Delhi, two of its most popular routes, from two per day to four flights per day.

Etihad’s expansion plans extend beyond India, with new flights announced for Boston, USA, starting March 31, and Nairobi, Kenya, on May 1. The airline’s exciting summer schedule also includes an inaugural non-stop service to Nice, France, and direct flights to the Greek isles of Mykonos and Santorini.

These new services and enhanced route offerings underscore Etihad Airways’ commitment to providing seamless connectivity for travelers worldwide, while also strengthening its position as a global airline with a focus on innovation and customer-centricity.
