Etihad Airways Debunks Turbulence Injury Rumors On Flight From Abu Dhabi To Phuket
Rumors were swirling about an Etihad flight from Abu Dhabi to Phuket, as local media outlets and reports claimed that passengers were injured due to turbulence.
But before you start worrying, Etihad Airways is here to clear the air and set the record straight!
On Wednesday, January 14, Bloomberg and other media outlets started making waves with reports of injuries occurring aboard Etihad Airways flight EY416, as it made its way to Phuket.
However, Etihad was quick to respond and deny the claims. According to an airline spokesperson, the flight did indeed experience turbulence during its journey from Abu Dhabi to Phuket, but there were no injuries. The plane landed safely at Phuket’s airport, and passengers disembarked as planned.
