Etihad Cancels Change Fees On Flights Until March 2027
Etihad Airways has updated its policy to give travelers greater peace of mind.
From March 6, 2026, until March 31, 2027, passengers who book tickets can make one date change free of charge.
That means no change fee will be applied if your plans shift.

- No-show and refund fees will still be charged where applicable;
- Any fare difference for your new travel date must be paid;
- Peak travel periods, blackout dates, weekend or holiday surcharges may still affect pricing.
Etihad advises travelers to check their flight details frequently. You can do this through direct communication from the airline or by reviewing your confirmed booking online. The full fare breakdown, including taxes and any additional surcharges, will be shown during the booking process.
Other UAE airlines follow suit
Etihad isn’t the only UAE carrier giving travelers more flexibility. Emirates is also allowing passengers who booked flights from April 2 onwards a complimentary date change across all cabin classes. Under its current travel waiver, travelers can make up to nine changes. This waiver is valid until April 30, 2027.
