Etihad Rail Begins Passenger Train Trail Runs In Abu Dhabi

Etihad Rail, in cooperation with the ADCMC to ensure safety, is now operating passenger trial services on the route connecting Al Ghuwaifat station and Al Faya station in Abu Dhabi

These trial journeys give passengers an early look at what the UAE’s national rail network will offer in terms of comfort, convenience, and scenic travel.

Key stations across the UAE

Once fully operational, the Etihad Rail network will include major stations such as:

• Al Ghuwaifat Station: A key entry point near the Saudi border, enhancing cross‑border connectivity.
• Al Faya Station: Serving central Abu Dhabi communities along the main rail line.
• Delma Island Station: Connecting the offshore community with the national network.

Future stations across the network will connect Abu Dhabi City, Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah and beyond, making it easier than ever to travel around the UAE.
