Saudi Arabian women made their first appearance at the Summer Special Olympics World Games that was held in Abu Dhabi. The Special Olympics are participated by those athletes with intellectual and physical disabilities.
The Saudi Women’s basketball team defeated the Ivory Coast’s team 16-11 to claim the gold medal. Their historic win yesterday came at the very last day of the games.
