Saturday marked India’s 70th Republic Day and the UAE celebrated in a big way.
The day which honours the day India adopted its own constitution saw celebrations in the capital held by Indian ambassador to the UAE Navdeep Singh Suri, plenty of flag-waving, music from a Guinness World Record holder and iconic towers displaying India’s tri-colour.

In an exceptional gesture of friendship, the Govt of UAE has conveyed that 7 major public buildings in Abu Dhabi will be lit up with the Indian tricolour tonight.
