Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India is in Dubai on a state visit and the red carpet has well and truly been rolled out.
The Burj Khalifa lit up with the Indian flag, along with the ADNOC building in Abu Dhabi and the recently opened Dubai Frame also boasted the Indian flag colours.
It’s been a busy trip for the Prime Minister who has witnessed the signing of five important MoUs between the UAE and India, greeted crowds, visited the Presidential Palace and facilitated the first ever Hindu temple to be built in the Middle East.
He will also speak at the World Government summit which is happening in Dubai right now.

Five MoUs were signed in the the presence of PM Shri Narendra Modi and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces relating to the energy sector, railways, manpower and financial services.
The MOUs also aim to improve the collaborative work between the two administrations as both sides hope to end existing malpractice with regards to the employment of Indian workers in the UAE, by combat trafficking and organize collaborative programs for education and awareness of contractual workers, according to the official statement from PM Modi’s office.
