In Abu Dhabi city and Al Ain, residents can expect mostly light to moderate showers. Heavier bursts are likely at times, continuing until Monday morning. In Al Dhafra, rainfall will follow a similar pattern. It may also be accompanied by more active winds, especially around convective clouds, lasting until Monday afternoon.
Water may also collect in low-lying areas, making surfaces slippery. Residents are advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time. It’s also important to stay updated with the latest forecasts.

Drivers should reduce speed and keep a safe distance from other vehicles. Staying alert at all times is key. Avoid valleys and flood-prone areas, as water levels can rise quickly.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office advises keeping a basic first aid kit nearby. Having alternative light sources ready is also recommended in case of disruptions.
The rain is bringing cooler weather and a nice change, but it’s still important to stay careful so everyone can enjoy it safely!
