The probable date for Ramadan 2019 to begin in the UAE is May 6.
The International Astronomical Centre, a scientific official centre based in Abu Dhabi, reported via Twitter that the Crescent moon would not be visible on May 5, and therefore most Islamic countries can expect the Holy Month of Ramadan to begin on May 6.
However, the presence of the moon, which signals the start of the Holy Month will be confirmed by a delegated UAE moon-sighting committee who release their findings on Government news agency WAM.ae.
