2019 was a huge year for the second annual Gov Games that took place at Kite Beach this weekend.
The set-up was bigger, the obstacles were more intense, and 170 male and female teams competed for a total AED3MILLION prize sum.
Yesterday saw the finals and resulted in Dubai’s Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan’s Team F3 being crowned the winners of both the male and female sections. They took home AED1million each, while the runners-up received AED300,000 each and the second runners-up got AED200,000 per team.

HH Sheikh Hamdan lead his team through the Battleship obstacle course in 24.07, the F3 female team finished the course in 22 minutes.
Lovin Dubai do a monthly Facebook live show at different spots around the city. This month was quite possibly the most exciting yet, when HH Sheikh Mohammed walked past during the show. He, along with the head of Dubai Police, Dubai Sports Council and many other dignitaries supported the Games this year.
