H.H Sheikh Mohamed started his official trip to the US on Monday, September 23rd.

Today, the UAE’s President visited Washington Children’s National Hospital

During his tour of the hospital, Sheikh Mohamed learned about its pediatric surgery specialties and high-standard healthcare services. He noted the use of innovative treatments and the hospital’s ongoing development, including online consultations for patients in the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed also talked to patients and their families, wishing them a swift recovery.

The UAE’s President visited the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Innovation in Pediatric Surgery, which offers advanced treatments from around the world. He learned about the “mini-heartbeat regulator” for infants, developed with UAE support and now used by over 40 pediatric patients, including five newborns.

Also, Sheikh Mohamed discussed the CU Command Center of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, which uses AI to diagnose critical illnesses and enhance treatment success. The Center facilitates telemedical consultations with doctors globally, including in Abu Dhabi and the Emirati Field Hospital in Gaza.
