The UAE has recalled a batch of Nestlé infant formula after traces of bacteria were found in one of the raw materials used during production. While this might sound concerning, authorities have assured the public that the issue is under control.
The Emirates Drug Establishment confirmed that only a “limited number” of products are affected. The recall was carried out in coordination with Nestlé to ensure safety, and no illnesses have been reported from the affected batches.
