Starting July 1, Abu Dhabi’s Department of Economic Development (ADDED) says all businesses and social media influencers need licenses to advertise online.
How should influencers obtain the social media influencer license to avoid fines?
The steps are easy and as follows:
- Log into the “Tamm” platform using your digital ID
- Search for the services provided by Abu Dhabi DED
- Select the freelancer license option
- Fill out the required information
- Pay the fees to get your license via email

The fees for obtaining the influencer license via ADDED’s Tamm platform are Dhs1,250 for individual influencers and Dhs5,000 for companies or groups of influencers.
