Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal sent Manchester City out of the FIFA Club World Cup after snatching a shocking 4-3 victory in extra time in the biggest upset of the tournament so far. And the Middle East is still celebrating!
His Highness Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan was seen donning a scarf in support of the Saudi Pro League Club Al Hilal during his meeting with His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Arabian side grabbed headlines world over after defeating the English giants on Monday. The match finished 2-2 at full-time but at the end of an eventful extra-time, Marcos Leonardo pulled off one of the greatest wins in Middle Eastern football history.

They are now set to face Brazilian club Fluminense in the first of the quarter-finals tonight. Saudi Arabian citizens have been celebrating across the globe, starting from New York City to London and of course, in The Kingdom itself. Videos of people dancing in their homes and out on the streets went viral on social media earlier this week.

The winner of tonight’s game will face the winner of the second quarterfinal, England’s Chelsea or Brazil’s Palmeiras, in the last four. That tie will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia immediately after the Fluminense and Al Hilal match.
