It descended into bedlam at du Arena last night, during the Yasalam after-race concert for The Weeknd, with organisers closing gates, and several fights breaking out.
Many were left locked out of the arena, after organisers made the decision to close the gates for safety reasons, citing that many concert-goers arrived at the same time, causing difficulties.
People took to social media to show the chaos, with some stuck locked in and some locked out – and others giving up and leaving the venue.
Organiser, Flash Entertainment released a statement on the matter, that the decision to close the gates was for the safety of those within the venue.
The weeknd’s concert was literally ruined because of the people.. Abel did great tho.
