True Gamers, a leading gaming lounge operator, has revealed ambitious plans to establish Abu Dhabi’s first-ever dedicated esports destination, poised to revolutionize the industry.

Vlad Belyanin, co-founder of True Gamers, disclosed that the proposed site for the monumental project is situated between the Al Bandar and Al Dana developments in the vibrant Al Raha Beach area. Anticipated to require an investment of approximately $1 billion, True Gamers is committed to contributing between $280 million and $300 million towards the endeavor.
The company has initiated discussions with esteemed investors to secure the requisite funding for the acquisition of the island and the development of cutting-edge facilities. Representatives of True Gamers have affirmed that negotiations with high-profile investors are underway to realize the full financial backing for the project.
Strategically located at the nexus of Abu Dhabi’s burgeoning neighborhoods, with Yas Island on one side and the residential developments of Raha Beach on the other, the proposed esports Island promises to be a dynamic addition to the city’s landscape.
The envisioned layout of the island will feature distinct sections, including The Digital Tower, a multifunctional hub designed to host meetings, startup accelerators, and animation studios. Additionally, the TG Arena will serve as the epicenter for esports tournaments, equipped with a computer club boasting approximately 100 state-of-the-art PCs, a dedicated simulation racing area, and facilities for console gaming enthusiasts.
