They called these actions illegal and a threat to Palestinian rights

The ministers reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty over Palestinian territories, including the West Bank.

They warned that these policies fuel violence and violate international law. The ministers said they also undermine the two-state solution, including the Palestinians’ right to an independent state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. Citing UN Security Council Resolution 2334 and the 2024 advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, they emphasized that Israel’s annexation efforts are illegal and null.

They stressed that respecting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and pursuing a two-state solution is essential. This approach, in line with international law and the Arab Peace Initiative, remains the only way to achieve lasting peace, security, and stability in the region.
