The Special Olympic Games 2019 is drawing near and people of Dubai took to the streets to show support.

HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Her Excellency Hessa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development for hosting special Olympics both lead ‘Walk Unified’ at Al Khawaneej, Mamsha on Tuesday.

People were so excited to see a Dubai royal lead the walk

‘Walk Unified’ is 1.2km walk which can be joined by people of all ages and it encourages inclusion and integration with people of determination

Team Angel Wolf, a Dubai family known for their extraordinary efforts in inclusion of people of determination in sports, were among the walkers.
