Today is a truly historic day in the UAE.

As over 135k people with tickets undertake the journey to Zayed Sports City Abu Dhabi to watch the head of the Catholic Church perform public mass here in the UAE for the first time.

Tickets were distributed over the last number of days and the scenes of happy parishioners congregating at their local churches to collect their tickets have been heart-warming.
