With pretty much every venue putting on a special night, we’ve listed the best of the best, and categorized them by price (under AED150, AED150- AED250 and AED250 and above).

26. Day & Night Ballroom, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel

If you’ve lived in the UAE long enough, you’ve noticed that hotels in the country pull out all the stops to transform their ballrooms into fabulous Arabian retreats.

25. Ramadan tent, Ajman Hotel

A beautiful sea-view Ramadan tent has been set up at the Ajman hotel and it’s filled with arabesque ambience by the Arabian sea. Doesn’t get better than this!

An array of buffet and live cooking stations will be available during iftar with all your favourite delicacies including ouzi and freshly baked saj.

24. Burger and Lobster, Burj Daman Building

If you’re a little out of the box and don’t feel like spending your entire iftar at a Ramadan tent, then opting for your favourite restaurant is the way to go.

22. Peyote, DIFC

Break your iftar in style by opting for the new iftar menu from Peyote located in the heart of DIFC.

Peyote is offering a modern Mexican iftar menu that incorporates all the classic Middle Eastern flavours, along with loads of Ramadan beverages for just AED125.

20. The Dallah Lounge Ramadan tent at Emirates Golf Club

The Dallah Lounge is a huge Ramadan tent and it’s coming to Emirates Golf Club’s sprawling greens. Two-storeys high, the Dallah Lounge has both iftar and suhoor offerings and you can choose either a formal or casual dining setting. Prepare to break fast with a full buffet, before venturing to the Mezzanine level for post-iftar drinks and shisha.

Iftar at The Dallah Lounge costs AED140 from sunset until 9pm with an a la carte menu options for suhoor.

19. Alternative pocket friendly iftar at WOK BOYZ

Asian street food concept WOK BOYZ is new on the Dubai foodie scene, but that doesn’t mean the iftar isn’t worth a visit.

It’s healthy Asian cuisine (that opens till 3.45am during the weekend) and has plates starting from just AED39 ready for both iftar and suhoor for both dine-in or take away. The Ramadan meal comes with a choice of prawn or rice crackers, sweet corn soup, street tofu or spicy Korean wings, customizable wok combo and beverage.

18. The dome at Qasr Al Sultan

It’s worth making a trip to Qasr Al Sultan Boutique Hotel and the especially created Ramadn ‘dome’ is the perfect excuse.

Choose either iftar or suhoor in the beautiful, fully air-conditioned dome. The entire venue is covered in glittering lights and live performances and soulful traditional music add to the atmosphere of the evening.

For food, visitors can expect a mix of Middle Eastern treats, with hot and cold mezzes, Arabian grills, and plenty of sweet treats to finish off. Iftar costs AED195 and suhoor costs AED150 from 10pm until 2am.

17. Iftar offer at Flooka

The laid-back seafood restaurant has a fantastic buffet with a variety of healthy Mediterranean dishes lined up. At just AED165, this is a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset. (Both Flooka Dubai and Flooka Abu Dhabi are hosting similar deals. Iftar runs from sunset till 8.30pm).

16. Boulevard Ballroom at the Address Boulevard

The Address Boulevard is a beautifully serene hotel in the heart of Downtown and the iftar atmosphere compliments this perfectly. One long communal table sits in the centre of the room making this is perfect for a big party, however small circular tables on either side are more suitable for smaller groups. The starters and mains come served to your table while the desserts you can choose from a designated buffet of phenomenal baked goods!

15. Constellation Ballroom, Address Dubai Marina

This ballroom at Address Dubai Marina is so beautiful you need to see it in person!

The buffet features international cuisine and live entertainment adds to the fun while an adjacent terrace offers hubbly bubbly.

14. Eat & Meat, The H Dubai

If you’re already super excited for Ramadan vibes, then this spectacular iftar offer is one you don’t want to miss.

For just AED160 per person, Eat & Meat restaurant is setting up a brilliant buffet spread! So expect salads, cooking stations and traditional Emirati dishes to break your fast with.

12. Namu, W Dubai

For just AED5 extra, you can experience a whole new cuisine for iftar during Ramadan this year. Namu’s Korean themed oftar will be one you won’t forget and you’ll absolutely love the food selection.

For just AED155, you will get to enjoy a Korean style set-menu filled with the Korean classics and favourites – soy braised beef short rib, marinated yellowtail fish, Korean pancakes and kimchi.

And you won’t even need to get out of your seat as they are served to your table! They dishes also rotate daily, so if you come back again, expect new Korean dishes.

11. Blue Orange ballroom, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi

A large iftar buffet will serve all your favourite Arabic dishes as the sun is setting – expect cold and hot mezze, delicious sweets and traditional machboos all night.

The atmosphere is topped off with Arabic music and gorgeous decorations to give you an unforgettable ambiance.

The terrace at Blue Orange, which overlooks the beautiful beach, will also be serving shisha from 8pm.

10. Asateer Tent at Atlantis the Palm

The beautiful Asateer Tent at the Atlantis is quite possibly the ultimate Ramadan iftar buffet and suhour experience and this year they’re mixing it up. Along with a full buffet of fantastic Emirati culinary treats, Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen and Giorgio Locatelli’s, Ronda Locatelli will be providing some additional dishes to the buffet along with an incredible range of desserts.

How much? AED220 per person inclusive of water and Ramadan juices. AED110 for those between three and 12 years. Minimum spend for suhoor is AED160 per person

9. Yalumba, Le Meridien Dubai Hotel

This one is tad over the price point but totally worth it because this Ramadan, Yalumba is offering a traditional buffet for iftar.

Filled with live cooking stations for mixed grills, fresh manakishes, ouzi, pide and shawarma stations – you will feast the night away!

8. Majlis at Madinat Jumeirah

This has got to be one of the most impressive set ups for an iftar, the Majilis is the perfect venue for a celebration. It’s beautifully designed (it IS part of Jumeirah after all) and of course, the buffet is top notch.

7. BiCE Ristorante

6. Iftar at Dubai Opera

Dubai Opera totally transforms for the Holy Month of Ramadan into an Arabian banquet hall. Food provided by the award winning Sean Connolly restaurant, live entertainment, live cooking station, a pop up Ramadan market and an absolutely stunning layout, iftar at Dubai Opera is not to be missed.

5. The Al Falak Ballroom at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

The Al Falak Ballroom needs no introduction. Inspired by a Viennese opera house, the venue gets a touch of Arabia when its dressed for the Holy Month of Ramadan. Prepare to feast on an extensive Arabic buffet, featuring a wide selection of local dishes, while a live Badri band provides the entertainments. Perfection!

4. COYA at Four Seasons Resort has a new iftar menu

COYA has prepared an iftar menu that starts with the healthy bites and nutrients you need when breaking your fast, while keeping some classic Peruvian dishes for a little later in the meal too.

Starting with soups and salads, followed by a choice of four main courses including baby chicken, spicy short rib, salmon fillet, papa mushroom with sides of cream corn and green salad with a choice of two desserts to finish.

The Palace Downtown transforms for the Holy Month, and the traditional Arabic tent which extends from the terrace into the gardens is well worth a visit.
