After their 2-1 victory over Al Bataeh in the opening match of the UAE Pro League on Saturday, Al Ain FC issued a statement condemning “numerous controversial refereeing incidents”.

Al Ain FC emphasized that they support the refereeing system and want it to continue improving to make Emirati football fairer and better for everyone.

The association requested that Al Ain follow official procedures for addressing disputes and maintain sportsmanship. The FA also confirmed that it has started legal action related to the club’s public comments and encouraged all issues to be resolved through formal channels.
