The UAE Offers Condolences After Tragic Air Canada Crash

Late on March 22, 2026, an Air Canada Express Flight 8646, a Bombardier CRJ-900, was landing at New York’s LaGuardia Airport when it collided with a Port Authority fire truck that had entered the active runway

The incident resulted in a devastating impact that led to the tragic loss of both the pilot and co-pilot, while dozens onboard were left injured.

In response, the United Arab Emirates expressed its sincere condolences to both Canada and the United States, standing in full support during this difficult time.
