Here is all you need to know about this year’s Cairo International Book Fair:

Having been around since 1969, the Cairo International Book Fair remains the largest and oldest book fair in the Arab world!

Every year, approximately 2 Million visitors from all across the world come together to visit Cairo’s most iconic book fair!

According to Al Ahram Online and The Cairo Book Fair website, this year’s fair is going to feature 550 events, 5,250 exhibitors, and Norway as the guest country!

• The Location is going to be the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo.
• The Date will be from January 25th until February 6th.
• The Ticket will be EGP 5, you can book through the website or buy it at the door.
• The Fair will be from 10 am until 8 pm every day, except on Thursday and Friday, the fair will close at 9 pm.
•  The Ministry of Culture will offer transportation in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and the Public Transport Authority, allocating 11 bus lines to and from the fair’s venue. These lines originate from various areas of Cairo, with 115 vehicles.
• There will be 1,200 publishing houses from 70 countries and a total of 5,250 exhibitors.
