Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly announced the new ministerial reshuffles and newly established and merged ministries with it.

In the following sections, we’ll tackle the newly merged ministries, newly established ones, and ministers who will lead them.
1- The Ministry of Emigration and Ex-patriate’s Affairs will be merged with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Ambassador Badr Abdel-Aty.
Ambassador Abdel-Aty will be replacing former Minister Sameh Shoukry, after 10 years of service, and Minister of Emigration and Expatriate Affairs Soha Gendi.
2- The Ministry of Transportation and Industry will be divided and its components assigned to new ministries.
a. The Industry component will be merged with the Ministry of Transportation, and the new Ministry of Transportation and Industry will be led by Minister Kamel El Wazir, who first took over the ministry in 2019.
b. The Trade component, on the other hand, will merge with an investment portfolio in a new entity, The Ministry of Trade and Investment, which will be led by Hassan El-Khatib.
3- The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development led by Hala El-Said will be merged with the Ministry of International Cooperation, led by Minister Rania El Mashaat.
Minister Rania El-Mashaat was first appointed as Minister of International Cooperation in 2019.
