Egypt Ends Daylight Saving Time On Thursday

The daylight saving time will officially end on October 26th.

According to a law passed by the House of Representatives, daylight saving time starts on the last Friday of April of each year and ends on the last Thursday of October.

The winter time will begin on Friday, October 27th.

The Cabinet said that one of the numerous advantages of returning to daylight saving time in 2023 would be the rationalization of energy usage, particularly in view of the current global shifts and economic situations.

On October 26, Egypt will observe winter time, with a 60-minute clock advance.

Egypt will continue to use the winter time zone for another six months, namely until April 26, 2024.
