Egypt Opens 3 Man-Made Diving Sites Off Hurghada

In coordination with

the Red Sea Reserves and the Hurghada Environmental Conservation Association, the Red Sea Governorate has inaugurated new 3 man-made sites off the beaches of Hurghada, Egypt.

These sites were constructed to follow the framework of developing diving tourism across Egypt and to help offer a unique experience combining history and marine life.

During the inauguration, divers from various nationalities flocked to experience the new diving centers!

Additionally, multiple diving centers participated in organizing trips to these new areas, made up of 15 industrial vehicles and equipment, in order to protect coral reefs from high diving traffic.

The initiative helps the Red Sea’s biological variety, which in turn improves the natural fish population and creates a favorable habitat for the growth of coral reefs.

This step aims to preserve Egypt’s coral reefs, which are amongst the most important coral shelters in the world.
