Since then, the Egyptian Police Forces have intensified the search for the Saudi Arabian expat, by expanding the search radius and sending his information details to every governorate and police station in order to facilitate the search process.

Currently, rumors are being spread about the resurfacing of his corpse after multiple news outlets published an inaccurate update, leading Hatan’s brother, Hani, to post a video on his Instagram platform debunking the news.
