KBS Chooses Egypt To Shoot A Cultural Competition Show

KBS’s renowned Korean channel came to Egypt for a four-day TV show shoot. To celebrate KBS’s 50th anniversary and the show’s 20th anniversary. Egyptian Contestants will showcase their language skills, cultural knowledge, and talents related to Korean culture.

 

 

 

 

The show will tour to France, Vietnam, and the United States. Similar episodes are being filmed in these countries to showcase the widespread influence of the Korean language and its impact on global culture.

 

The first rounds of the competition took place at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The second round was held at the Korean Cultural Center in Egypt. Out of 129 applicants, only 68 qualified for the competition. After the second round, two exceptional contestants were chosen as winners to compete in the finals in Korea.

 

The competition questions revolved around significant landmarks in Egypt and South Korea, highlighting the cultural similarities between the two nations. The Egyptian edition of the competition is set to be broadcasted on the KBS channel in September. As for the highly anticipated finals, they will be aired on October 9th, coinciding with the celebration of the Korean Alphabet, with the top prize valued at $1,500.
