Killed Due To A Financial Hardship… A Quran Teacher Was Tragically Murdered By Her Husband In El Behira Governorate
In a disturbing incident, a 21-year-old Quran teacher, Aya Hamdi Abdel-Moaty, was tragically murdered by her husband in Wadi El Natroun, El Behira Governorate.
In a video, Aya’s father explained that his daughter had died due to blunt force trauma to the head, suffocation, and severe beating, according to the medical report he received.
The security forces at the Directorate of Beheira Security had received a notification from the Wadi El-Natroun Police Station’s commander, stating that Aya Hamdi, a 21-year-old Quran teacher, residing in Wadi El-Natroun, arrived at Wadi El-Natroun Specialized Hospital deceased.
The body was kept in the hospital’s morgue under the jurisdiction of the investigation authorities, who ordered a forensic autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. In addition to requesting police investigations into the incident.

The incident occurred following a verbal altercation between them over her request for money to cover household expenses. This led the husband to assault his wife by strangling her, ultimately ending her life.
The authorities decided to detain Hadi 26 years old, for four days pending further investigations. His detention is to be renewed within the legal deadlines.
